INDICATIONS
Roundworm, liver- and conical fluke remedy for cattle, sheep and goats.

COMPOSITION
Levamisole hydrochloride*      2,5 % m/v
Oxyclosanide**                       3,4 % m/v

3* Imidothiazole
4** Salicylanilide

STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place.

WARNINGS

  • Withdrawal period: Allow 7 days between last treatment and slaughter for human consumption.
  • No worm remedy, not even Tramizan®, should be dosed to sheep and goats that have not been immunised against pulpy kidney (enterotoxae­mia).
  • In a low percentage of high‑producing dairy cows the following transient reactions may be noted: diarrhoea, salivation and swelling of the head.
  • In case of poisoning call a doctor and make this information available.
  • Destroy empty containers according to local waste disposal regulations and do not reuse for any other purpose.
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, UNINFORMED PERSONS AND ANIMALS.
  • Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE – USE ONLY AS DIRECTED
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE.
Tramizan® may be dosed to all cattle, sheep and goats without any pre‑dosing starving or change of diet.

Dosage
Cattle: 15 mℓ/50 kg body mass.

Sheep and goats: 3 mℓ/10 kg body mass.

Cattle, sheep and goats (Paramphistomum spp.): 
3 mℓ/10 kg body mass followed by a second dose 72 hours later.

Efficacy

*  Controls = > 90 % effective
** Aids in control = 60 – 89 % effective

The list contains the more important endoparasitic species.  This anthelmintic may also be effective against other species.  For more information consult your veterinarian.

  • Onttrekkingsperiode: Laat 7 dae tussen laaste behandeling en slag vir menslike verbruik.
  • Geen wurmmiddel, nie eens Tramizan®, moet gegee word aan skape en bokke wat nie teen bloednier geïmmuniseer is nie.
  • In ‘n lae persentasie van hoë-produserende melkkoeie mag die volgende reaksies van verbygaande aard voorkom:  buikloop, speeksel afskeiding en swelling van die kop.
  • In geval van vergiftiging raadpleeg ‘n dokter en maak hierdie inligting beskikbaar.
  • Doen weg met leë houers volgens plaaslike afvalbestuursregulasies en moenie vir enige ander doeleindes hergebruik nie.
  • HOU BUITE BEREIK VAN KINDERS, ONINGELIGTE PERSONE EN DIERE.
  • Alhoewel hierdie middel breedvoerig onder ‘n wye verskeidenheid toestande getoets is, mag dit faal as gevolg van verskeie redes. Indien dit vermoed word, raadpleeg ‘n veearts en verwittig die registrasiehouer.

Tramizan® kan met veiligheid aan alle beeste, skape en bokke gegee word sonder enige voorafgaande uithongering of verandering van dieet.

Dosis
Beeste:  15 mℓ/50 kg liggaamsmassa.

Skape en  bokke:  3 mℓ/10 kg liggaamsmassa.

Beeste, skape en bokke (Paramphistomum spp.):
3 mℓ/10 kg liggaamsmassa gevolg deur ‘n tweede ooreenkomstige dosis na 72 ure.

Doeltreffendheid

*         Beheer = > 90 % effektief
**       Hulpmiddel in beheer = 60 – 89 % effektief

Hierdie lys bevat die meer belangrike endoparasitiese spesies. Dit kan ook effektief teen ander spesies gebruik word. Vir verdere inligting raadpleeg u veearts.
