STORAGE

  • Store in the dark between 2 ºC and 8 ºC.
  •  Do not freeze.
  • Avoid prolonged or repetitive exposure to high ambient temperatures (20 °C to 25 °C) following withdrawal from the refrigerator prior to use.
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Diluent: Store at room temperature below 25 ºC.

WARNINGS

  • Do not administer in conjunction with other intranasal treatments or during antibiotic treatment.
  • No information is available on the safety and efficacy from the concurrent use of Nobivac® Bb Intranasal with any other vaccine. It is therefore recommended that no other vaccine should be administered within 14 days before or after vaccination with Nobivac® Bb Intranasal.
  • In case antibiotics are administered within 1 week after vaccination, the vaccination should be repeated after the antibiotic treatment is finished.
  • Particularly in very young susceptible kittens, occasionally sneezing and/or mild and transient discharge from eyes or nose may appear within 2 weeks after vaccination.
  • Do not open and reconstitute the vaccine until ready to start the vaccination.
  • Do not store partially used vaccine containers for future use.
  • Dispose of any unused vaccine as well as all empty vaccine containers and vaccination equipment according to local waste disposal regulations.
  • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN, UNINFORMED PERSONS AND ANIMALS.
  • Although this vaccine has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Only healthy kittens and cats should be vaccinated. Animals incubating any disease or experiencing stress due to shipping, malnutrition or parasitism, may not achieve or maintain an adequate immune response.
  • Vaccinated animals can shed the Bordetella bronchiseptica vaccine strain for 6 weeks. It is therefore advisable to avoid close contact between immunocompromised humans and vaccinated animals during this period.
  • As with all vaccines hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reactions may occur.
  • Use only non-chemically sterilised vaccination equipment. Ensure that all the vaccination equipment remain clean and sterile prior to and during the vaccination process.
  • The contents of the vaccine should be used within 4 hours once reconstituted.
  • Administer into only 1 nostril of the kitten or cat.
  • It is good vaccination practice when handling the vaccine to avoid contact with the eyes, hands and clothing.
